Motion lab

Seven ways the controls can appear. Each option ends in exactly the same resting design — only the arrival differs. Every animation plays once when it first scrolls into view, and can be replayed at any time.

Option 1

Baseline — fade-in

The current entrance. Each control gently fades into view, one after another.

Option 2

Relief

Each control is already visible and settles a few pixels into its resting depth, like a key finding its seat.

Option 3

Fade + relief

The baseline's staged fade, with each control gently settling into its resting depth as it appears.

Option 4

Raking light

A single soft light passes across each circular face, quietly revealing the depth of the material.

Option 5

Center outward

The middle control wakes first, then its two neighbours, then the outer pair — a shallow wave of activation.

Option 6

Pressure release

All controls begin very slightly pressed and smoothly relax back to their resting plane.

Option 7

Rim resolve

The material is present from the start; the rim illumination and selected glow quietly resolve into place.
